How Data Access Works
GA4 connections use secure Google OAuth. The signed-in user grants read-only access to their GA4 resources.
Project and dataset selection uses the signed-in user's Google access to list available resources.
Custom BigQuery dataset analysis runs through Ai2Metric server-side Google Cloud credentials and only queries datasets explicitly configured for analysis.
How Google User Data Is Used
Ai2Metric uses GA4 read-only OAuth data and configured BigQuery query outputs only to provide user-requested analytics workflows:
- Dashboard views and diagnostics
- AI-generated summaries and investigation paths
- Anomaly detection and investigation
- Funnel and traffic analysis
- Data quality review
Demo mode requires no sign-in and uses Google's public GA4 BigQuery sample dataset. GA4 access requires Google OAuth consent.
Data Handling Commitments
Ai2Metric does not edit, delete, or modify your GA4 or BigQuery data.
Ai2Metric does not sell Google user data.
Ai2Metric does not use Google user data for advertising.
Ai2Metric does not use Google user data to train public AI models.
Ai2Metric does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the requested AI analysis experience.
If AI APIs are used, selected analytics context may be sent to the selected AI provider only for generating requested insights.
Data Protection and Security Measures
Ai2Metric protects Google user data and other sensitive analytics data using administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
- Google OAuth access is limited to the minimum read-only scopes required for the selected GA4 or BigQuery workflows.
- OAuth tokens and application secrets are handled server-side and are not exposed in browser-accessible client code.
- Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections between the user's browser, Ai2Metric, Google APIs, and approved service providers used to deliver requested features.
- Access to production systems and environment secrets is limited to authorized personnel with a legitimate operational need.
- Ai2Metric applies least-privilege access controls and uses read-only Google API permissions for analytics reporting and diagnostics.
- Logs and diagnostics are limited to information needed to operate, debug, secure, and improve the requested service, and are not used for advertising.
- Google user data is not sold, is not used to train public AI models, and is not transferred except as necessary to provide the user-requested analytics experience.
- Users can revoke Ai2Metric's Google access at any time from their Google Account permissions page.
Control and Revocation
Users can disconnect access at any time by revoking Ai2Metric permissions in their Google Account security settings.
Public Demo Mode
The Ai2Metric demo dashboard does not require authentication and uses Google's public GA4 BigQuery sample dataset so visitors can evaluate the product experience without connecting a private account.
The demo is provided for educational, testing, and product evaluation purposes only. It does not display, access, or analyze private user GA4 or BigQuery data.
